Chicken: Because a dog’s body, can’t store
protein, a new supply is needed daily. Chicken is an ideal source
of protein because it’s lower in calories, fats, and saturated fats
than most other meats. It’s also extremely dense in nutrients
including protein, zinc, iron, phosphorous, riboflavin, thiamin, and
niacin.
Chicken Fat: Chicken fat is rich in Omega-6
fatty acids ideal for outstanding skin and coat condition. In
addition to providing essential fatty acids, it is more digestible
than most fats and provides an excellent source of energy for your
dog. The chicken fat used in Bakery Blend® is naturally preserved
to ensure freshness, offering a natural source of vitamin E.
Cranberries: The cranberries we use are rich
in vitamins A and C; they contain reservatrol (an anti-cancer
compound), and they help diminish bad doggie breath.
Blueberries: Blueberries are nature’s
number-one antioxidant, which fights free-radicals that can cause
cancer.
Garlic: Garlic supports a shiny coat, a
healthy heart, drives off fleas, reduces parasites, and serves as an
anti-fungal. Dogs go crazy for its appetizing aroma.
Eggs: Eggs are a naturally nutrient-dense food
important to any balanced diet. They provide a complete protein
source with vital amino acids, vitamins, and minerals (Vitamins A,
B, E, K, Biotin, and Sulfur); and they contribute to healthy growth
and muscle development.
Sage: Not only does sage give our Bakery
Blend® food a mouth-watering aroma, but it also aids digestion,
helps increase appetite, and soothes a dog’s mouth & gums.
Flaxseed: Flaxseed is one of the richest plant
sources providing antioxidant lignans and Omega-3 fatty acids—ideal
for supporting your dog’s active immune system and promoting healthy
skin and a shiny coat.
